When my wife, Jane and I began realizing that our landscaping looked old, overgrown, and outdated, we started to panic because we had no idea whom we would go to for help.
As we drove around neighborhoods and began spotting new landscapes we thought were terrific, we inquired to find out what landscaping company had done the design—which is a major portion of any landscaping job. The answers were always the same—Hyde Park Landscaping.
The design that John Miller provided for the front of our house was fantastic and immediately transformed our home into what could have been the final product for a “Curb Appeal” TV show! In our minds what had been a major problem area (a curved driveway in front of the house) John found a solution which was both practical and extremely attractive.
We had the rest of the house done the following year. Down came the old, splintered deck and in went a magnificent paver patio with wide stone steps leading down from the back doors of the house. Surrounding the patio is a beautiful and artful stone wall, capped with limestone, of which any mason from the Italian Renaissance would be proud! The wood “shadowbox” structure at the end of our patio provides privacy but also allows small glimpses into, what has become, our gorgeous outdoor room.
With the landscaping, water feature, and new lighting our home has been given not only new life, but qualities which have surely increased the value of our home.
Jane and I truly enjoy working with Hyde Park Landscaping. The workers labored tirelessly and cleaned up nightly, what a treat. When problems occurred (as they will with any project) they handled them extremely well. We never worried because we knew they would find the correct solution from both cost saving and ethical views.
